We depart from your home and travel to Plymouth where tea and coffee will await you on arrival. Time to relax before dinner this evening.
This morning, after breakfast, we set off for Pencarrow House and Gardens. This stunning Georgian mansion has been home to the same family since the 1500s. During our visit, well take a guided tour of the house, uncovering the fascinating history and legacy of the Molesworth family. Following the tour, youll have free time to wander through the charming gardens at your own pace.
In the afternoon, we continue to Looe, a lively seaside town that offers year-round appeal. With its rich character and vibrant atmosphere, Looe remains a bustling fishing port that captivates visitors.
The day is free for you to explore the historic city of Plymouth. Take a stroll around the famous Hoe, visit the Barbican Steps, and browse around the city centre shops.
This morning we drive to rugged Bodmin Moor and stop at Jamaica Inn. With its Daphne Du Maurier associations and a museum filled with smuggling artefacts collected over many years. From here we travel to the North Cornwall coast and Tintagel with its dramatic castle ruins, and the pretty harbour at Port Isaac, setting for TVs Doc Martin.
After breakfast we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

DAY ONE
We depart from your home and travel to Plymouth where tea and coffee will await you on arrival. Time to relax before dinner this evening.
DDAY TWO
Today our first visit is to the Grade II listed port of Charlestown, featured in TV's popular drama series 'Poldark'. The harbour was built in the 18th century to support the China clay and copper mining industries. For our lunch stop we move on to Mevagissey with a maze of narrow streets around the harbour. This afternoon we make our way to Looe. The popular seaside town of Looe can keep visitors entertained all year round and retains its character as a bustling working fishing port.
