After your day here, well head back to our hotel with time to relax before dinner this evening.
A day at leisure in Babbacombe, why not take a gentle stroll the short distance to the Babbacombe Model Village; feel like a giant as you step through the small entrance and the vast miniature world opens up before you, then explore the award winning gardens, showcasing beautiful streams and waterfalls.
Or maybe take the cliff railway to Oddicombe Beach. Built in 1926, the Babbacombe Cliff Railway has shuttled hundreds of thousands of holiday makers to and from Oddicombe Beach in over 90 years of service. Then relax in the hotel and enjoy the views over the bay.
After a leisurely morning, well make our way out to the Dartmoor National Park, and Okehampton, often referred to as the Gateway to the Moor. The town is home to the picturesque Okehampton Castle, which dates to the Domesday Book and sits in an elevated position.
