(19) DAY ONE – Bakewell and Arrival

We depart from your home and travel first through the Peak District to Bakewell, where you have some time to explore before we continue our journey to Yorkshire arriving in the afternoon with time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

(20) DAY TWO – Yorkshire Wildlife Park & The Yorkshire Hive

Wake up on the WILD side! This morning after breakfast we visit Yorkshire Wildlife Park located just a few metres away from our hotel. the home to the largest collection of Polar Bears in England and the largest purpose-built habitat of its kind in the world.

 

Explore a variety of wildlife from around the world at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. With close-up encounters and animal experiences, whether it's feeding time or learning about conservation efforts, this is one of the best things to do in Yorkshire for animal lovers.

 

Then visit The Yorkshire Hive, an exciting shopping, dining and leisure destination located just a short stroll away. Browse the independent shops, pick up a souvenir, or simply unwind with a coffee and watch the world go by.

 

(21) DAY THREE – Brodsworth Hall & Gardens

After breakfast, we leave our hotel and travel to the beautiful Brodsworth Hall & Gardens. On arrival, enjoy time exploring the lovingly restored Victorian gardens, from the elegant formal gardens and impressive topiary to the fern-filled dells, Target Range and charming summerhouse.

 

We then continue inside Brodsworth Hall, where you can discover its fascinating Victorian rooms and kitchens and gain an insight into life in this remarkable country house.

During our visit, there will be time to enjoy refreshments in the tearoom, located in the former servants’ wing, and perhaps take another leisurely stroll through the gardens before we depart.

 

Later this afternoon, we return to our hotel with time to relax and unwind before dinner this evening.

 

(22) DAY FOUR – Holmfirth and Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our way to Holmfirth, where we have some time before continuing our journey home.
