Enjoy Callendar, nestled between the Highlands and the Lowlands.
We depart from your home pick-up, join our coach and travel north into Scotland arriving in Drymen during the early evening. On arrival the Hotel Manager welcomes you. Afterward, time to settle in. Dinner will be served later this evening.
Today we visit the vibrant city of Stirling known as the Gateway to the Highlands, full of character and steeped in history you have time here before we later visit Helix Park, your gateway to discovering the wonders of The Kelpies and the enchanting world of The Helix. Step inside the Visitor Centre and experience a captivating space where creativity meets heritage.
Inside, you can explore our exhibition area, where you'll discover the craftsmanship and attention to detail that make The Kelpies truly remarkable. Take a moment to relax and enjoy a delicious selection of treats in the café, and before you leave, you can visit the gift shop. Dont forget to bring your camera.
This morning after breakfast we take a scenic drive along Loch Lomond in The Trossachs National Park making a stop at Loch Lomond Shores, with great shopping, outdoor activities and restaurants and cafes. You can enjoy the natural surroundings or sit and enjoy refreshments as you gaze at the view. Well return to our hotel later where we can relax before our evening of Scottish entertainment.
We venture today to Inveraray as we drive through the Trossachs youll arrive at this little gem of a place. Enjoy the quirky shops and maybe obtain lunch before we continue to Callendar, that lies between the Highlands and the Lowlands on the River Teith. Well then return to our hotel for dinner and entertainment this evening.

This family run hotel nestles around the pretty village green of Drymen and the hotel dates to a former 18th century Inn but sensitively extended and refurbished. All bedrooms have full facilities for a relaxing break, entertainment, no lift but ground floor rooms maybe available.
