DAY TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

Haddon Hall   |   Guided Tour   |   Bakewell

YOUR ITINERARY

We depart from your selected pick-up point, and you can then settle into your comfortable seat as we depart for Bakewell, a quaint market town nestled in the heart of the Peak District, famous for its stunning scenery and, of course, the legendary Bakewell pudding.

Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the River Wye, browse artisan shops, discover the bustling town or simply take in the peaceful atmosphere. History enthusiasts will love visiting the 13th-century All Saints Church, while foodies might want to stop by a traditional bakery to sample or even buy a fresh Bakewell pudding or tart!

Whether you're after hearty pub food, homemade baguettes, or indulgent desserts, Bakewell has eateries to suit every taste and preference, so take some time for lunch whilst you are here.

We then board the coach and relax as you travel just a short drive to the magnificent Haddon Hall, one of England's finest medieval manors.

Step back in time as you enjoy the guided tour and then you can explore Haddon Hall and its stunning grounds. Known as “the most romantic house in England”, this beautifully preserved estate offers history, architecture, and enchanting gardens.

This visit is made even more special by the Magic Exhibition, a fascinating showcase that celebrates the wonders of illusion and enchantment. Immerse yourself in the exhibits and demonstrations that bring a little magic to life alongside the Hall's historic setting.

We then gather for your comfortable ride back leaving at approx. 4.30pm. Relax and enjoy the scenic views of the Peak District as we head home.

What to Bring:

· Comfortable shoes for walking.

· A warm jacket (the Hall and Gardens may be cool).

· Spending money for lunch, souvenirs, and sweet treats.

We look forward to spending this magical day with you. Don’t forget your camera, as Bakewell and Haddon Hall are full of postcard-perfect moments!

Please note as beautiful as Haddon Hall is, for those with mobility issues, it can be a tricky place to navigate.
