(7) DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel south to Sidmouth, arriving at your hotel late afternoon, time to relax before dinner.

(8) DAY TWO – Sidmouth

Today enjoy the delights of the Regency resort of Sidmouth, with its many attractions. Why not visit the Sidmouth Museum, it is open today until 13:00, so a morning walk of just 3 mins, will take you to the museum, where you’ll find interactive displays and fascinating histories. Or spend some time relaxing in the spring sunshine at Connaught Gardens, a sheltered and part walled garden of about 1.25 hectares.

(9) DAY THREE – Exmouth and Exmouth River Cruise

After breakfast we drive to Exmouth, where you can enjoy some free time as well as the river cruise as we journey along the scenic Exe Estuary, live commentary will enhance your enjoyment of the cruise pointing out sights of interest along the riverbank, as well as helping you to spot the various bird and animal species which inhabit this wildlife haven.

(10) DAY FOUR – Bicton Park Botanical Gardens and Bicton Countryside Museum

Today we visit Bicton Park Botanical Gardens; home to many rare plants with origins from all parts of the world, including one of the finest collections of trees in Britain. This Heritage Garden is maintained by a team of dedicated gardeners who look after and tend the different areas, so that you can enjoy them to their fullest.

We have also included admission to the Countryside Museum featuring a huge collection of exhibits that mirrors change to village life, farming, horticulture, social history and rural crafts during the early 20th century.

(11) DAY FIVE - Beer Village and Pecorama

After breakfast, we make the short journey to the picturesque fishing village of Beer in East Devon - one of Devon's best-kept secrets. Nestled between dramatic white cliffs, this charming village is famous for its traditional fishing heritage, colourful boats and peaceful pebble beach. Enjoy time at leisure to browse the independent shops, relax with a coffee overlooking the sea, or simply soak up the tranquil atmosphere.

Later, we visit Pecorama, a delightful attraction overlooking Lyme Bay. Beautifully landscaped gardens provide spectacular coastal views, while the famous miniature railway takes you on a scenic journey through tunnels, over bridges and around the stunning grounds. There is also a fascinating model railway exhibition, gift shop and café to enjoy before we return to our hotel for our final evening together.
