A special murder mystery-themed tour to Torquay. With entertainment each evening, an Agatha Christie quiz and a Titanic-themed murder mystery dinner. Will you be able to solve the case?

DAY ONE - Arrival

We depart from your home and travel south to Torquay with comfort stops enroute.  Arrive late afternoon at your hotel, leaving time to relax before dinner. After dinner tonight there is entertainment.

 

DAY TWO – Torquay

After breakfast, the day is free to explore Torquay at leisure. Known as the ‘Queen of the English Riviera’, Torquay is one of England’s best-loved resorts. Explore the harbour, enjoy a stroll along the promenade or do some shopping in the town centre. Relax in and around the hotel and watch the world go by.

 

We then return to the hotel in time to dress for the occasion our murder mystery dinner.

 

 A TITANIC ADVENTURE - It is April 9th, 1912, the night before the Titanic sets sail to America and some of the more affluent guests of the ill-fated liner are having dinner before their crossing begins the next day. Maggie Warner has been shopping in London with her fiancé Thomas Berrycloth but is he who he claims to be? We all know the tragic tale of the ship but did something wicked happen before the ship even set sail? Let's meet some of the passengers and crew of arguably one of the most famous ships in history and see what unfolds. Following the murder mystery there is entertainment.

 

DAY THREE – Agatha Christie Quiz

After breakfast enjoy a leisurely morning in the hotel before a midday Agatha Christie quiz in the lounge. Following our quiz we enjoy a delicious Devonshire cream tea. After dinner tonight there is another evening of entertainment.

 

DAY FOUR – Departure

This morning after breakfast we depart our hotel for our journey home with comfort stops enroute.

Majestically overlooking Meadfoot Beach and the sea, set on the headland, the Headland Hotel was originally built for the Romanoff’s, the Russian Royal Family. All bedrooms are en suite and have television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
