The York Food Festival is a gastronomic treat.
The festival brings over 100 food and drink producers to showcase the best of Yorkshire produce in York City centre streets and markets.
St Sampsons Square is the venue for a daily programme of demonstrations by celebrity chefs. York Cookery School will also be showing food preparation skills.
York was home to the Rowntree family; the City’s Chocolate story is told through exhibits and demonstrations at the Guildhall.
Of course, all the food tasting may require the liquid refreshment provided by York Brewery, wine bars, coffee stalls or ‘proper’ Yorkshire Tea! Not forgetting the Street food stalls that will tempt you with many international dishes and flavours.

We depart from your selected pick-up point, and you can then settle into your comfortable seat as we depart for York, arriving at approx.. 11am.
You’ll have the day to explore and enjoy all the activities and attractions before we rejoin our coach at approx. 5pm for our journey home.
