We depart from your home and travel to Scotland where we arrive late afternoon, time to relax before dinner this evening.
Today, we head to Aviemore, a gateway to the Cairngorms National Park. Spend a relaxed morning exploring the town, with time to enjoy the shops, take a light walk, or simply soak in the scenery.
In the afternoon, board the Strathspey Steam Railway for a nostalgic journey through the stunning Highland countryside. Sit back and enjoy the breathtaking views as the train meanders through this picturesque region.
Well then return to our hotel to relax, before dinner this evening.
Today after breakfast we make our way to Inverness where we enjoy an enchanting wildlife cruise, an effortless voyage along the picturesque Inverness firth to the world famous Chanonry point lighthouse. On our cruise, enjoy stunning views, local history, and rich wildlife, all delivered through engaging onboard commentary.
Venture under the Kessock Bridge into the Inverness Firth and get those binoculars at the ready as you head towards popular dolphin watching spots. Hear tales of the local history and folklore whilst taking in the stunning views across the water from our onboard experts whilst they help you spot wildlife.
We then have some free time before we make our way back to the hotel with time to relax before dinner this evening.
This morning we visit the Grantown Museum, telling the story of the founding of this planned town, bringing the story up to date using modern and traditional display methods, and is a source of great pride to the people of Grantown.
Well then have a scenic drive through the Cairngorms to Kingussie, the capital of Bedenoch, before returning to our hotel.
After breakfast we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

Grantown Museum.
Situated in the heart of the Highland town of Grantown-on-Spey, this traditional, quality Scottish hotel once hosted Queen Victoria and in more recent times, Queen Elizabeth II. The hotel offers modern comforts whilst retaining its traditional character and is proud of its location, surrounded by amazing wildlife, flora and fauna. All 50 well maintained, comfortable bedrooms have spacious bathrooms and are equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a lift to most floors but there are steps to negotiate to some rooms. The public areas were recently refurbished to a high standard, the large restaurant is in a beautiful, high-ceilinged room and the bar and lounge areas are cosy and relaxing.
