DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Somerset arriving late afternoon; you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Clevedon and Oakham Treasures

This morning we enjoy the Somerset Coast and visit Clevedon, a beautiful Victorian town with a grade 1 listed Pier, ornamental gardens, and a relaxing Promenade. This afternoon, we head to Oakham Treasures, which will give you an uplifting trip down memory lane with its vast and unique collection of memorabilia.

 

DAY THREE – Wells

Today the day is yours to enjoy Wells. You might like to visit the Cathedral for the remembrance service today.  Wells Cathedral was built between 1175 and 1490 Wells Cathedral has been described as “the most poetic of the English Cathedrals”. Or perhaps The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens, home to the Bishops of Bath and Wells for over 800 years and this stunning medieval palace, which is now open to the public, with free guided walks, and the Bishop’s Table café for you to enjoy refreshments. Don’t forget to walk down Vicar’s Close, which adjoins the Cathedral, it is believed to be the only complete medieval street left in England.

 

DAY FOUR - Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
