DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel firstly to Stratford-upon-Avon where we spend a little before we continue our journey to Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds, arriving at the Heythorp Park Hotel late afternoon.

 

DAY TWO – Cotswolds Tour

This morning we have a tour of the Cotswolds where we explore the local area and visit the beautiful Cotswolds villages. We’ll head back to the hotel this afternoon where you can enjoy the leisure facilities or simply relax and enjoy the surrounding.

 

DAY THREE – Royal Leamington Spa and Banbury

Today we explore two locations, firstly Royal Leamington Spa, renowned for its famous spa for centuries, Royal Leamington Spa now not only offers history, but has architecture, arts and a quirky side to explore. We’ll then visit Banbury, a market town on the River Cherwell. Banbury is set amidst gentle rolling hills. An impressive bronze statue of the “Fine Lady” from the famous “Ride a cock horse to Banbury Cross” rhyme is set close to the Banbury Cross at the meeting point of the roads from Oxford, Warwick and Shipston-on-Stour.  Other points of interest include the Marketplace, St Mary’s parish church, the atmospheric lanes and streets of the Old Town and the Castle Quay shopping mall with the town’s Museum set directly beside the Oxford Canal. 

 

DAY FOUR –  Bicester Village

Today we will travel the short distance to Bicester Village where you can discover more than 150 boutiques from heritage fashion houses and cutting-edge designers at this luxury shopping destination. With an excellent selection of restaurants and café’s we spend some time here before heading back to our hotel.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
