(6) DAY ONE – Arrival

This morning, we depart from your home and travel to Fishguard for our ferry crossing to Rosslare. On arrival in Ireland, we make the short journey to Enniscorthy and the Riverside Park Hotel, our home for the next four nights. Settle in and enjoy tea and coffee on arrival before dinner this evening.

 

(7) DAY TWO – Kilkenny and Altamont Gardens

This morning, we travel west to the medieval town of Kilkenny, where there is free time to explore at leisure. Dominated by magnificent Kilkenny Castle, the city is filled with historic streets, churches, craft shops and plenty of places to enjoy lunch.

 

After lunch, we continue to Altamont Gardens. These enchanting gardens offer a colourful collection of plants and beautiful landscaped grounds, providing a relaxing afternoon before we return to our hotel.

 

(8) DAY THREE – Enniscorthy at Leisure

Today is free for you to enjoy our base of Enniscorthy at your own pace. Perhaps discover the town’s fascinating history, visit Enniscorthy Castle or the National 1798 Rebellion Centre, browse the shops, or simply relax and enjoy the surroundings before returning to the hotel for dinner.

 

(9) DAY FOUR – Waterford Crystal and Tramore

After a leisurely breakfast, we journey to Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city and a name renowned around the world for crystal glass. Here we enjoy a guided tour of the House of Waterford Crystal and discover the skilled craftsmanship behind its famous creations. Afterwards, there is some free time in Waterford before we travel to the seaside port of Tramore for a relaxing afternoon at leisure.

 

(10) DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast, we leave Enniscorthy and travel along the coast to Dublin for our ferry crossing to Holyhead. On arrival back in Wales, we continue our journey home.
