• Step aboard the Harwich Harbour Ferry for a delightful journey across the historic harbour.

 

(11) DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to the East of England, arriving late afternoon at your hotel.

 

(12) DAY TWO – Bury St Edmunds and Helmingham Hall Gardens

This morning we journey to historic Bury St Edmunds, famous for its Abbey Gardens and attractive centre. This afternoon we head to Helmingham Hall Gardens, surrounded by a deep moat, deer park and beautiful Grade I listed gardens.

 

(13) DAY THREE – Colchester and Tiptree, inc guided tractor tour and cream tea

This morning we discover Colchester, where you have time to explore at your own pace. This afternoon we travel to Tiptree for a 40-minute guided tractor tour followed by a delightful cream tea in the Secret Garden room, with time to visit the jam museum and gift shop.

 

(14) DAY FOUR – Essex Sunshine Coast and Harwich Harbour Ferry Journey

Today we visit the Essex Sunshine Coast, with bustling Clacton-on-Sea and more relaxed Walton-on-the-Naze. We continue to Harwich for a relaxing harbour ferry journey through maritime history.

 

(15) DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast, we leave and begin our journey home.
