This morning we make our way to Denby Pottery Village, home to the largest selection of Denby stoneware in the world.  We embark on the Denby discovery and Museum Experience, starting with the Discovery Experience where we find out how the beautiful pottery is hand-crafted from ‘clay to cup’, followed by a visit to the Museum where we discover 200 years of fascinating Denby history.  Our experience also includes afternoon the at Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro.  This afternoon we visit Kedleston Hall, an 18th century mansion and seat of the Curzon family.  Inside, we discover luxurious Adam interiors, state rooms and the family’s collection of fine art and furniture, including 1,000 objects from across the Asian continent.  Stroll the beautiful pleasure grounds and parkland, also designed by Robert Adam.
