Discover the scenery, heritage and flavours of Northern Ireland on this five-day break based in Newry. Enjoy a crossing on Carlingford Ferry, a guided Bean to Bar chocolate experience with tastings at NearyNogs, and a visit to the St Patrick’s Centre followed by a traditional soup and sandwich lunch at Denvir’s Pub.

(27) DAY ONE – Ferry to Dublin and Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Holyhead for our ferry crossing to Dublin. On arrival in Ireland, we continue to our hotel.

 

(28) DAY TWO – Day at Leisure

Today is left free for you to relax and enjoy your surroundings at your own pace before returning to the hotel for dinner this evening.

 

(29) DAY THREE – Carlingford Ferry and NearyNogs Chocolate

Today we travel to Greenore for a single crossing on the Carlingford Ferry to Greencastle. We then continue to NearyNogs Chocolate for a guided Bean to Bar chocolate experience, including five chocolate samples, a roasted cacao bean and a choice of drinking chocolate.

 

(30) DAY FOUR – St Patrick’s Centre and Denvir’s Pub

This morning we visit the St Patrick’s Centre, followed by a soup and sandwich lunch at Denvir’s Pub. Lunch includes homemade barnbrack and tea or coffee.

 

(1) DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast we leave our hotel and travel to Dublin for our ferry crossing back to Holyhead, before continuing our journey home.
