DAY ONE - Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Norfolk arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Holt, Blakeney Seal Colonies Boat Trip and Wells-next-the-Sea

We begin with a drive through rural Norfolk countryside as we head north to the delightful town of Holt - an old-fashioned Georgian town of impeccable colour-washed houses, antiques and picture galleries. Moving on, we reach the coast at Blakeney, famous for its seal colonies. Here we join the boat at Morston Quay for a 1-hour trip to Blakeney Point and the seal colonies, with commentary provided by the experienced crew. Later we continue to Wells-next-the-Sea for lunch and time to enjoy the town at leisure.

NOTE: Sailings from the harbour at Blakeney/Morston are governed by tide times & weather conditions. It may be necessary to amend this day.

 

DAY THREE – Norwich and Southern Comfort Paddle Steamer

Today we take you into the city of Norwich for the morning to see the sights, enjoy some retail therapy or just relax, enjoy lunch, and watch the world go by. The cathedral in Norwich is well worth a visit, as is the cobbled Elm Hill district. This afternoon we have a drive to Horning where we join the Mississippi Paddle Steamer ‘Southern Comfort’ for a delightful sail around the Norfolk Broads.

 

DAY FOUR – Great Yarmouth

Our final outing takes us to the seaside town of Great Yarmouth -Norfolk’s best-loved holiday resort. We spend the day here so enjoy a walk along the seafront, explore the town or relax and watch the world go by. Late afternoon we return to Norwich.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
