Windsor Castle is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 39 monarchs.

DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel south to our hotel with time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Christmas at Windsor Castle

Today we enjoy our visit to Windsor, Stroll through the Great Halls of Windsor Castle, the longest-occupied Royal Residency in Europe, where the British Christmas does not officially begin until every hall has been fully decked out. Be spellbound by a castle spectacularly adorned with Christmas decorations, and the main attraction shining as the 20-foot-high Nordmann Fir Tree wrapped with 3000 LED lights, iridescent glass, and mirrored ornaments.

 

Wander through the halls of this majestic citadel, unfolding great old tales from Queen Charlotte bringing Britain’s first Christmas tree, to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert’s tradition of the Christmas Gift Table with unwrapped gifts.

 

DAY THREE – Kew Gardens and Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and head to Kew Gardens. Usher in the spirit of Christmas with a visit to the Winter Spectacle of Kew Gardens. The World’s largest and most diverse botanical collection transforms into a Christmas Odyssey during the holidays, where you will be hypnotized by the dazzle of the lights reflecting off the lakeside.

 

Jingle all the way through the illuminated tunnels while humming along to your favourite festive songs. Seasonal delights from hot chocolates and mulled wine are there to help you ward off the winter winds while you say hello to Father Christmas and his merry Elves!

 

We then make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
