Also you’ll enjoy free time in Cambridge to soak up the atmosphere of the Christmas markets, brimming with seasonal treats, unique gifts and charming stalls.

HOLIDAY HIGHLIGHTS

DAY ONE - Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Cambridge with comfort stops en route, arriving late afternoon at the hotel we enjoy a welcome tea/coffee & biscuits on arrival with time to relax before dinner this evening.

DAY TWO – Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Hadleigh and Helmingham Gardens illuminated trail

After breakfast, we journey to Bury St Edmunds, famous for its Abbey Gardens and

the Angel Hotel, where Dickens had Mrs Pickwick stay. We enjoy free time to explore

the town before we journey South to the Ancient town of Sudbury. After free time here,

we journey to Hadleigh for lunch and time to explore.

Later, we head to Helmingham and enjoy the Illuminated Garden trail. We explore the

historic gardens which are beaming full of colours, lights and sounds, creating a

beautiful festive experience. There will also be food and drink stalls along with the

chance to browse the stable shops for the perfect Christmas gift. We travel back to

the hotel for dinner this evening.

DAY THREE – Cambridge Christmas Markets and Departure

After a leisurely breakfast we visit the Cambridge Christmas markets. Browse the variety of stores offering artisan crafts, produce and delicious street food. Afterwards we begin our homeward journey with comfort stops en route.

The Holiday Inn Cambridge Hotel is just a short drive from the Cambridge city centre and is an ideal base for this tour. Hotel facilities include an indoor swimming pool and gym, bar and open plan lounge. All bedrooms are ensuite with television, telephone, and tea & coffee making facilities.

DAY ONE

DAY TWO
