Today we have a day at leisure in Looe to enjoy this lovely resort.
This morning we travel to Fowey, a picturesque town that has much to offer and is designated an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Its natural harbour is the perfect haven for yachtsmen while still busy as a working port exporting Cornwalls china clay.
The home of Daphne du Maurier can be seen, and the town also boasts an excellent selection of quality shops, art galleries, cafes, and restaurants for those looking for a Cornish cream tea or tasty fish & chips.
No holiday to Cornwall would be complete without a visit to the southwest tip of the area.
First, we journey to St Ives, through Bodmin, making our way along the peninsula. St Ives is a picturesque fishing harbour with plenty to see and lots to explore.
This afternoon before we make our way back to the hotel, and if time allows, well make a stop at Lands End - one of Britains best loved landmarks, famous for its unique location, natural beauty, and stunning scenery.
Today we enjoy Plymouth, a city shaped by the past and steeped in history. Delve into Plymouths history as you walk in the footsteps of adventurers and explorers who strolled its streets in years gone by, including Sir Francis Drake, the Mayflower Pilgrims and Charles Darwin.
Today we visit to Padstow, a fine example of a Cornish fishing port with a colourful harbour surrounded by pastel-washed medieval houses and of course home to the well-known TV chef, Rick Stein, and a perfect location for lunch. This afternoon well head back to Looe, where you have time to relax before dinner this evening.
After breakfast we depart our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops enroute.
