A pre-Christmas Turkey and Tinsel break is great fun and will certainly get you into the Christmas spirit. Staying in beautiful Looe, we enjoy excursions to Plymouth and Truro and all the festivities with this seasonal package. In the port of Looe, you will have time to explore the town’s history and bustling harbour, with a labyrinth of narrow streets and shops, you’ll be spoilt for choice if a little Christmas shopping is on the list.

DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Cornwall arriving late afternoon where you can enjoy a mince pies with tea/coffee and time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Looe

Time today to relax and enjoy the town festivities, Looe is a great place to explore, with its labyrinth of narrow streets lined with cafes and shops, you can even pick up a pasty in one of the bakers to enjoy.  Or simply take a seat and watch the world go by.

 

DAY THREE – Plymouth

Today we have a day in Plymouth. You will have plenty of time to enjoy this historic city. The city's most famous landmark, The Mayflower Steps commemorates the sailing of the ship and the Mayflower Pilgrims from Plymouth in 1620. Enjoy the splendid views of Plymouth Sound from the grassy headland of The Hoe or climb 94 steps to the top of Smeaton's Tower. You can also visit the Barbican and Sutton Harbour with its cobbled streets, here you will also find the National Marine Aquarium.

 

DAY FOUR – Truro

This morning we head to Truro with time to stay for lunch you can explore Cornwall’s capital. Take some time to visit the impressive Cathedral before we return to our hotel with time to relax before our dinner this evening.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops enroute.
