(24) DAY ONE - Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Holyhead for our crossing to Dublin. Upon arrival we re-join the coach and travel across Ireland to Killarney with comfort stops en route.

 

(25) DAY TWO – Killarney Jaunting Car and Killarney

We begin our day with our Jaunting Car ride where you will be collected in the Jaunting cars from the hotel and travel to Ross Castle, we’ll then make our way back to Killarney where you have time at leisure this afternoon to enjoy Killarney town.

 

(26) DAY THREE – Dolphin Boat Harbour Cruise and Dingle Peninsula

This morning after breakfast we make our way to the Dingle Peninsula, where we enjoy the Dingle Dolphin Boat 1-hour guided Harbour Cruise that takes you through the breathtaking sights of Dingle Bay. This tour provides a unique way to experience the coastal beauty of Dingle. The cruise includes a commentary on local history and landmarks, such as the formation of the cliffs and sea arches, and the era of the landlords, the Great Famine, and Dingle’s historical connections to Spain and France.

After our boat cruise we’ll have a tour of the Peninsula, with it’s magnificent coastline and steep sea-cliffs.

 

(27) DAY FOUR – Ring of Kerry

Today we take the scenic drive around the Ring of Kerry, this is the highlight of the tour.  Formed during the last ice age, this picturesque peninsula with its traditional villages, lush countryside, and ocean views, makes it a wonderful coastal drive, which is why people come from across the globe to see the Ring of Kerry.

 

(28) DAY FIVE - Departure

Today we begin retracing our steps to Dublin for our crossing to Holyhead and home.

Located 1 mile from Killarney town centre, the excellent Gleneagle is one of Killarney’s largest hotels and overlooks the mountains of Killarney National Park. All 244 bedrooms are modern with a bright colour scheme and equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The large, traditional restaurant has plenty of natural daylight and there is a large bar with plenty of seating where entertainment takes place, as well as a smaller, more relaxed bar and a few quiet lounge areas. There is also a regular shuttlebus to/from Killarney town centre (small charge).

 

All single rooms are double/twin for sole occupancy.
