Experience the magic of Christmas with this wonderful opportunity to see Holkham Hall adorned with festive decorations and flickering candlelight. The halls will be decked and lit with hundreds of candles in readiness for you to celebrate Christmas and tour the hall by candlelight. This is a truly magical opportunity to relish the magnificent state rooms adorned with opulent Christmas decorations and beautiful flickering candlelight. Lady Leicester, together with Christmas-connoisseur Catherine Zoll, spend the entire year designing the sets and themes for your enjoyment.

DAY ONE - Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Norfolk arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Holkham Hall

This morning we make the journey to Holkham Hall. On arrival be greeted and treated to Prosecco or soft drink and mince pie. The hall is in 18th-century Palladian style house, based on designs by William Kent and built by Thomas Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester. The house has been festively decorated with opulent Christmas decorations and beautiful flickering candlelight. Explore the magnificent stately rooms, discovering the intriguing stories of Holkham’s history and of its residents past and present.

 

DAY THREE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
