Explore the Victorian Spa town of Harrogate with our short break.  Known for its elegant architecture, beautiful gardens, and rich cultural heritage. Born through a boom in Spa tourism during the Victorian 1800s Harrogate quickly developed a reputation for luxurious getaways for body and soul. Modern day Harrogate is the go-to destination for relaxation and indulgence, synonymous with quality shopping and afternoon tea!  We also discover another Yorkshire Gem – York the famous cathedral city, with Roman origins, and many historic buildings.

DAY ONE – Arrival & Harrogate

Depart from local pick-up point and travel to Harrogate, arriving around 11am.  Time to get out and about, see the sights or browse the shops.  This afternoon we indulge in an included Afternoon Tea (selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones, cream and jam) at the hotel!  Then perhaps if you have the energy enjoy more of the charms of Harrogate before our dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – York - Departure

After breakfast, time to head off to the famous city of York. Discover this wonderful city at your own pace.  This afternoon we then make our journey home with comfort stop enroute.
