Hampshire is the perfect blend of city, coast and country with quaint towns, two National Parks and a thriving culture. Youll have time to explore Winchester and visit the famous Bombay Sapphire Distillery for a tour and tasting. Take in the delights of the New Forest with stops at Lyndhurst and Lymington and a relaxing visit to the gorgeous gardens at Exbury. Well then head to the coast with time to explore the maritime city of Portsmouth.

We depart from your home and travel to Hampshire arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.
This morning we enjoy a drive to the historic town of Winchester. Here youll have time to see the citys cathedral, explore the high street or perhaps visit one of the many museums in the town. Later, we visit the Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery for their Self Discovery Experience. This experience showcases the very best of Bombay Sapphire gin and the beautiful, historic distillery. It includes a 15-minute guided tour throughout the Still House plus a complimentary drink in the Mill Bar.
Please note: The Bombay Sapphire Experience is in a working distillery, passengers must wear suitable footwear (e.g. no open-toed shoes or high heels).
This morning, we head to the town of Lyndhurst, known as the capital of the New Forest since the times of William the Conqueror. Lyndhurst offers a wide range of shops, cosy tea rooms, old-world pubs and cafes. Later, we travel to the market town of Lymington, in the south of the New Forest. Here we have a chance to enjoy lunch and spend some time exploring at our own pace. In the afternoon, we continue through the stunning New Forest, arriving at Exbury Gardens, a spectacular 200-acre woodland garden famous for the Rothschild collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and camellias.
Our day begins with a ride through the South Downs, reaching the market town of Petersfield where we enjoy a stop in the heart of the National Park. The town has a variety of local shops, as well as a museum, Psychic Garden and art gallery. Today is also market day! Afterwards, we head to the coast where the rest of the day is yours in the Maritime City of Portsmouth. Perhaps visit the Historic Dockyard, home of Victory and Mary Rose, or see the lovely cathedral.
After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

The Hampshire Court Hotel stands at Chineham on the outskirts of Basingstoke. Part of the prestigious Q Hotels group, hotel facilities include a leisure club with indoor swimming pool and gym. Accommodation offers a range of smart, comfortable and stylish bedrooms. All bedrooms are ensuite and have television, telephone, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
Please Note: This hotel does not have ground floor rooms or walk in showers.
