We depart from your home and travel to Stirling, with comfort stops en route, we arrive late afternoon.
This morning, we have some time at leisure, to relax. Maybe learn more about the battle and Robert the Bruce from the National Trust Heritage Centre, which is directly next door to the hotel or take a gentle stroll through the trees behind the hotel to the mighty statue of King Robert the Bruce, taking in the panoramic views of the castle and beyond.
Later this morning well then take a scenic tour into the Trossachs making our way to the bonny banks of Loch Lomond and spending time at Loch Lomond Shores Leisure and Shopping complex with a chance to browse the shops.
This morning, we make our way to the world's one and only rotating boat lift. A marvel of engineering and Scottish Canals' flagship destination, The Falkirk Wheel. Connecting the Forth & Clyde Canal with the Union Canal in a half-turn that takes only five minutes! Youll enjoy a boat trip here that includes the boat lift.
Well then continue the short distance to the Kelpies, a sight to behold. Well then make our way back to our hotel, with time to relax before dinner this evening.
This morning we will visit the beautiful Falls of Dochart that run through the small town of Killin.
Located at the western end of Loch Tay, the famous white waters of the Falls of Dochart can be viewed from the villages bridge.
Admire the misty spray rising in the air as the waters of the river crash into the rocks then flow around the Islands of Inchbuie, known as the traditional and ancient burial place of Clan Macnab.
Well then return to our hotel afterward to enjoy a 2 course Easter Lunch, and time to relax.
After breakfast this morning we depart our hotel, and make our journey home, with comfort stops en route.

The King Robert Hotel is situated on the site of the Battle of Bannockburn on the outskirts of historic Stirling, ideally placed in the heart of Scotland. The King Robert is a family run hotel where you will always find a friendly welcome. The hotel has 52 bedrooms all tastefully decorated with private en-suite facilities, LCD television (most are Smart Tv's), tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and free Wi-Fi. This hotel does not have a lift.
All single rooms double/twin for sole use, with many rooms having walk in showers.
DAY ONE
