For your grand finale, the Jane Austen Dancers of Bath bring the past alive, twirling in authentic attire. Clap along to classic dances, and if the mood strikes, join in for a whirl of a dance lesson!

Meander around a serene Cotswolds paradise at Painswick, the UK's last remaining rococo gardens, led by the Garden Director, your guide to uncovering the secret 18th-century spirit of liberation, fun, and nature in this whimsical oasis.

Embrace rural charm at Cogges Manor, harmoniously nestled among historic architecture, where you can explore flourishing gardens, riverside strolls, farm-fresh delights and relive Downton Abbey's Yew Tree Farm.

DAY TWO – Bath and Parade House Trowbridge

This morning, we head to Bath enjoy free time to explore the historic sites, you may choose to look at the Roman Baths, or the ancient Abbey, or perhaps enjoy a relaxing time in one of the many cafes and watch the world go by.

This afternoon we visit Parade House. Featured on BBC Antiques Road Trip and winner of Trowbridge’s Town Enhancement Award 2023, Parade House is a stunning Grade 1 Listed Georgian townhouse, lovingly restored to its former glory by owners and locals Simon and Carey Tesler.

Arrive in Trowbridge’s “stretch of Palaces” and enter an atmosphere of regency grandeur. With an owner as your private guide, ascend the sweeping 18th-century carved staircase and explore rooms faithfully adorned with authentic antiques, costume exhibitions and Bridgerton-inspired décor.

DAY THREE – Painswick Rococo Garden and Cheltenham

This morning, we visit Painswick Rococo Garden. Meander around a serene Cotswolds paradise at Painswick, the UK's last remaining rococo gardens, led by the Garden Director, your guide to uncovering the secret 18th-century spirit of liberation, fun, and nature in this whimsical oasis.

Designed in the 1740s as a fanciful pleasure garden for the owner of Painswick House and his guests, today it’s a place to roam free, to get up close and personal with nature, or to feel the warmth of the sun on your face as you take in the spectacular views of the Cotswold countryside and magical follies.

In 1748, Benjamin Hyett asked local artist, Thomas Robins to paint the garden. Little did he know that this very painting would be used as inspiration for the restoration of the Garden from the 1970s right up to the present day.

This afternoon we visit Cheltenham, a wonderful mix of the traditional and the new, with a unique festival vibe, an abundance of independent and much loved High Street shops, and incredible dining experiences from street food to Michelin starred  fine dining. There’s something for everyone.

DAY FOUR – Coggers Manor Farm and Cotswolds Tour

Unearth rural bliss on a guided tour of Cogges Manor, an acclaimed working farm boasting over 1000 years of history. Nestled against a 13th-century manor house and Grade II listed 18th-century farm buildings, it's an idyllic retreat predating the Domesday Book. For Downton Abbey enthusiasts, this was the iconic Yew Tree Farm, gracing screens from series 4 to 6 and the latest movie.

Explore the flourishing Kitchen Garden, stroll along the river's edge, and wander through verdant pastures. Embrace the community spirit by savouring locally sourced, farm-fresh delights at the café (at guests’ own cost) - the scones are an absolute must!

Please note, there are stairs to access the first floor.
