DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Northumbria, arriving at our hotel, late afternoon.

 

DAY TWO – Newcastle-Upon-Tyne CHRISTMAS EVE

Today we have a leisurely day in Newcastle with chance to see the city, There is plenty to see and do including the famous shopping on Northumberland Street, the Great North Museum and renowned bars and restaurants.

 

 

DAY THREE – Hexham CHRISTMAS DAY

Merry Christmas! Celebrate Christmas Day in the hotel, where you can lounge around, indulge in delicious food, and Christmas festivities.

 

DAY FOUR – Durham BOXING DAY

Today we explore the historic city of Durham, where the dramatic skyline is dominated by the stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Cathedral and Castle. Bill Bryson called Durham 'a perfect little city' with churches, chapels and cafés dotted throughout.

 

DAY FIVE –Departure

After breakfast this morning we depart our hotel and make our journey home.
