We depart from your selected pick-up point, and you can then settle into your comfortable seat as we depart for Castle Howard, arriving at approx. 11.30am.

 

On arrival we’ll begin our visit in the Stable Courtyard, where you’ll find a fantastic selection of seasonal essentials, indulgent treats, and unique gifts.

 

But the true highlight of the visit is the House itself, spectacularly transformed for Christmas.

 

Each year, Castle Howard unveils a breathtaking themed display, bringing its grand rooms to life with towering Christmas trees, twinkling lights, lush garlands, and imaginative installations.

 

Wander through opulent chambers dressed in festive splendour, discover magical scenes inspired by classic stories, and enjoy the warmth and charm that make Castle Howard’s Christmas experience unforgettable.

 

Just a short stroll away, the enchanting Christmas Shop—accessible with a House admission ticket—offers beautifully curated decorations and festive delights to inspire your home this Christmas.

 

Food lovers will enjoy exploring the Farm Shop, brimming with locally sourced produce perfect for a traditional Christmas feast. From locally reared turkey to Castle Howard Estate beef, you’ll find all the ingredients needed for a delicious holiday dinner.

 

Your day wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the charming Castle Howard Garden Centre, a treasure trove of festive décor, plants, and thoughtful gifts.

 

We then gather for your comfortable coach ride back home, leaving at approx. 3.30pm.
