(12) DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your selected pick-up point and travel to Kent arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

(13) DAY TWO – Rochester and Leeds Castle

This morning we visit the town of Rochester with its magnificent cathedral and historic castle. Take a stroll along High Street and explore the old town and cobbled streets. We have a chance to obtain lunch here before our afternoon visit to Leeds Castle.

 

Leeds Castle is set on two islands on the River Len and has been home to generations of lords and ladies for over 1,000 years. We are transported through around 900 years of the castle’s history – in a sumptuous mix of period architecture, impressive interiors, and family treasures.

 

(14) DAY THREE – Canterbury and River Stour Cruise

This morning we travel to the historic cathedral city of Canterbury, where medieval streets, timber-framed buildings and inviting shops and cafés await.

 

During our visit, we enjoy an included 45-minute cruise along the River Stour. Relax as we glide through the heart of the city, passing historic buildings and peaceful riverside scenery. Afterwards, there is free time to explore Canterbury at your own pace.

 

(15) DAY FOUR – Hole Park Gardens and Hever Castle

Our day begins at Hole Park Gardens, a beautiful country estate renowned for its colourful borders, peaceful woodland and carefully designed gardens.

 

We later continue to Hever Castle and Gardens, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. Discover the castle’s fascinating Tudor history and explore its magnificent gardens, lakeside walks and impressive collection of historic features before returning to our hotel.

 

Please Note: The visit to Hole Park Gardens is subject to final confirmation. A suitable alternative may be arranged if required.

 

(16) DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
