Time to get out and about and blow off some winter cobwebs on this lovely day trip. Calling at Gordon Rigg Garden Home & Leisure Centre at Todmorden. This garden centre was established in 1945 and is one of the largest Garden Centre in the Northwest, enjoying over 60,000 square feet of retail space and was voted best Garden Centre in the North, 2nd best in the UK by Which Magazine. There are a variety of choice of products, and a Farm Shop. At the Bottoms Mill Shop (located just opposite the Garden Centre) there is homeware, bedding, textiles and so much more.
Bolton a former mill town, which has been at the centre of textile production since the 14th century when Flemish weavers settled in the area, introducing a wool and cotton-weaving tradition. It is in the foothills of the West Pennine Moors, it is in fact the biggest town in the UK. Today it has a great range of high street shops and independent retailers, places to eat and relax, plus the Bolton Gate Retail Park which is centrally located.

We depart from your selected pick-up point and travel north to Todmorden to enjoy time at leisure at Gordon Rigg Home & Leisure Centre, arriving at approx. 11am. After lunch we depart to make our way to Bolton, where you can enjoy a little free time to discover this lovely Lancashire Mill town.
We will leave at approx. 4.00pm to make our way back home.
