Join us for our Scottish holiday this tour based in Central Scotland in the village of Crianlarich. A train ride to Oban is featured as well as a sightseeing excursion around Perthshire and a distillery

DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Scotland along the shore of Loch Lomond to the Crianlarich Hotel arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Fort William and Ballachulish Visitor Centre

This morning we drive to Fort William, where there is plenty of time to explore and marvel at the beautiful surroundings of the town. Enjoy lunch in one of the cafes and tearooms and perhaps visit the West Highland Museum where you can learn the history of this region.

 

After our time here, we head south to Ballachulish Visitor Centre where we can stretch our legs and perhaps pick up a souvenir. Finally, we return over the rugged Rannoch Moor to Crianlarich. Back at the hotel, our first night of entertainment is planned for your enjoyment.

 

DAY THREE – Stirling and Balloch

Our day takes us through the National Park, past lochs, forests, and mountains until we reach Stirling. You are free to admire and enjoy the city. Perhaps visit Stirling Castle with its picturesque views or relax in a tearoom or café.

 

This afternoon we then head to Balloch at the very southern tip of Loch Lomond where we visit the ‘Loch Lomond Shores’ outlet. Enjoy some retail therapy, stretch your legs, or get a hot drink. On our return to the hotel, we can enjoy another night of entertainment.

 

DAY FOUR – Oban

We head through the Scottish countryside, following the River Awe for a time, as we wind our way to the west coast of Scotland where we stop at Oban for the day. There is a huge variety of independent stores, as well as the Oban Distillery and St Columba's Cathedral which are both worth a visit. Tonight, we enjoy our final evening of entertainment.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
