DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Devon arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Dartmouth

Today is your chance to explore delightful Dartmouth. The River Dart is busy with boats of all shapes and sizes, and the town hosts the Royal Naval College. We have free time here today for you to explore before we return to the hotel late afternoon.

 

DAY THREE – Sidmouth

Always a favourite this morning we travel to Sidmouth, with its red sandstone cliff which dates to the Triassic period.  You have the day at leisure here, why not take a stroll along Millennium Walkway which stretches the length of the beach or relax in the stylish cafes and watch the world go by. We’ll then return to our hotel mid-afternoon when you have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY FOUR – Totnes

First, we visit the market town of Totnes. Discover the postcard-pretty, bustling town of Totnes.  With a thriving market and a lively independent shop and café scene unfolding in the shadow of the impressive Totnes Castle, there’s lot to see and do throughout the year. with its variety of shops and historic buildings. We’ll then return to our hotel mid-afternoon to have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

Majestically overlooking Meadfoot Beach and the sea, set on the headland, the Headland Hotel was originally built for the Romanovs, the Russian Royal Family. All bedrooms are en suite and have television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has a lift.
