Come with us and see the wonderful historic splendour of Tabley House.

 

Admire the extraordinary collection of art, furniture, and memorabilia and hear about the intriguing history of the Leicester family.

 

Also, the Tabley House Collection Tea Room offers a range of light refreshments in a beautiful, peaceful, and historic setting.  Situated in the Old Hall Room, the Tea Room links the Grade I listed stately home with the 17th Century St Peter’s Chapel.

 

St Peter’s Chapel originally built on an island in the Mere in 1678, was moved in 1927 and re-erected on its present site adjacent to the house. The Chapel has impressive stained glass, with one window designed by Burne-Jones. The Chapel was recently used as the location for an important wedding scene in BBC’s ‘Peaky Blinders’.

YOUR ITINERARY

We depart from your selected pick-up point, and you can then settle into your comfortable seat as we depart for Cheshire.  Forst we’ll stop in Knutsford, where you can explore this quaint Cheshire market town.

 

We’ll then depart here and head to Tabley House, for our entrance at 1pm, we have included a guided tour for you, and you can also enjoy the Tea room and St Peter’s Chapel.

 

We then rejoin the coach at approx. 4pm and make our leisurely journey back home.

 

What to Bring:

· Comfortable shoes for walking. 

· A warm jacket

· Spending money for lunch and treats.
