Llandudno is a traditional seaside resort with a wealth of attractions showcasing its Victoria origins and beaches offering spectacular views across Snowdonia and Anglesey. Our itinerary takes in some of the dramatic and spectacular scenery of Snowdonia National Park.

DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Llandudno, arriving early afternoon, you’ll have time to relax and enjoy the town before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Snowdonia Guided Coach Tour

Today our guide will take us around Snowdonia, on the coach, where we explore this wonderful area in more detail, enjoy the fascinating tales, and interesting facts, and make some lovely stops along the way.

 

DAY TWO – Llandudno inc City Sightseeing Tickets

Today you have a day at leisure in Llandudno. We have included a City Sightseeing ticket for you for today so you can enjoy a trip on the open top bus. Enjoy the delightful town, stroll along the prom, or simply find a pleasant spot and watch the world go by.

 

DAY THREE – Caernarfon, Beaumaris and Anglesey

Today we travel first to Caernarfon, dominated by one of the most impressive castles in Wales. The huge castle, with its unusual octagon towers, was the largest of many built by Edward I at the end of the 13th century.

 

We then head over the Menai Straits and on to the Isle of Anglesey, where we have a little time in picturesque Beaumaris. The castle is an unfinished masterpiece, built in 1295.

This afternoon we board the all-weather cruiser to Puffin Island – home to many species of birds and wildlife. The 1½ hour cruise, with live commentary, takes you right round the island with regular sightings of puffins, grey seals, and dolphins.

 

DAY FOUR – Bodnant Gardens

Today we visit Bodnant Gardens, where you have time to explore this stunning Grade I historic garden, formal garden, meadows, arboretum, and garden architecture, as well as enjoying the tea rooms, and craft/gift shops.  A lovely way to spend the day before returning to our hotel later this afternoon.

 

DAY FIVE – Tweedmill and Departure

After a leisurely breakfast we depart Llandudno and make our journey home, with a stop along the way to visit Tweedmill Shopping Outlet.
