DAY ONE – Arrival
We depart from your home and travel south to Sidmouth, a leisurely journey with comfort stops enroute.
DAY TWO – Exe Estuary River Cruise
Today we travel to Exmouth where we embark on a leisurely river cruise. The Exe is famous for the seal, so keep an eye out for them as we sail through the calm sheltered waters of the Exe. With live commentary this cruise will give you a full insight into the history and scenic splendour of the area including the resident and visiting wildlife.
DAY THREE – South Devon Railway
We enjoy a lovely scenic drive today as we make our way to beautiful and inspirational Buckfast Abbey, located on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park.
We then continue to Buckfastleigh where we enjoy a return train journey on the South Devon Railway. Following the River Dart our journey takes us through the beautiful Devon Hills and beautiful unspoilt countryside, a real treat.
DAY FOUR – Sidmouth
Today we have a day at leisure in beautiful Sidmouth so you can enjoy its timeless charm.
DAY FIVE – Departure
After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops enroute.

The hotel is situated in an unrivalled position on the Esplanade directly overlooking the sea. Part of the hotel dates to 1811. The hotel offers facilities and friendly service under the personal supervision of the proprietors whose family have run the hotel for over fifty years.
