Babbacombe is a popular resort town on South Devons glorious English Riviera, with a great vantage point where you can enjoy a stroll and take in the scenery and the beaches below. A leisurely and relaxing holiday.

We depart from your home and travel to Devon making comfort stops en route, arriving late afternoon when you will be met with a Welcome tea/coffee whilst your luggage is taken to your room. Time then to relax before dinner this evening.
A Day at leisure today in Babbacombe to explore your surroundings. With its own promenade, theatre, shops, and restaurants and of course not forgetting the Babbacombe Model Village well worth a visit. Take the Babbacombe Cliff Railway, one of only a few original working funicular railways still in existence today. From here you can explore the beaches and the harbour before making your way back to the Cliff Railway and your hotel. Or simply enjoy some relaxation at the hotel, which offers a terrace and views overlooking Lyme Bay.
Totnes postcard-pretty, a bustling market town and a lively independent shop and café scene unfolding in the shadow of the impressive Totnes Castle, theres lots to see and do here. Well return to our hotel mid-afternoon with time to enjoy the hotel before dinner this evening.
After breakfast today we travel to Sidmouth, with its red sandstone cliff which dates to the Triassic period. You have the day at leisure here, why not take a stroll along Millennium Walkway which stretches the length of the beach or relax in the stylish cafés and watch the world go by. Well then return to our hotel mid-afternoon when you have time to relax before dinner this evening. There is an optional theatre evening this evening.
This morning we head for the picturesque fishing port of Brixham where you have time to explore and perhaps obtain lunch before we visit Paignton a traditional seaside resort. We stop a while here, perhaps walk along the pier, before returning to our hotel.
Today we visit Teignmouth, a real hidden gem, originally a fishing port. What will you discover? Later well continue to Dawlish one of the UKs finest beach resorts.
Today we make our way the short distance to Torquay, a traditional thriving seaside town set on Devons English Riviera coast, the town is most famous for its beaches, and genteel Victorian appearance, it is distinctly Mediterranean in character, and offers plenty of things to do. Or you may prefer to simply relax in Babbacombe.
After breakfast we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

The Babbacombe Hotel, set on the seafront enjoying the fantastic coastline from its Bar and Restaurant windows. All rooms offer ensuite accommodation with walk in showers, tea/coffee making facilities and digital flat screen TV's. The hotel has a lift to the first and second floor bedrooms. Electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters are NOT allowed in the lift. Twin/Double Ground floor rooms may be available upon request.
*PLEASE NOTE: It is your responsibility to advise us if you have any mobility issues on booking. The lift in the hotel only services the 1st and 2nd floor, there are then 14 steps to the third floor. Should you wish to pay extra for a twin/double sea view/balcony room (subject to availability), please be aware that these rooms are located above the Show Bar and you will hear music, therefore not suitable for those who retire early.
There are NO SINGLE GROUND FLOOR ROOMS, or Single Sea View Rooms and access to all single rooms is with a minimum of three - maximum of six stairs. It is imperative that you advise us of any mobility issues on booking, as the hotel will NOT be able to change your room once allocated due to this being a busy hotel.
