Our base for this New Year break is the pleasant market town of Carmarthen, in South West Wales. Join us for a few days away and enjoy a delightful combination of entertainment and two trips out . The scenery is still spectacular even at this time of year.

DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel south to Carmarthen arriving in good time to relax. Settle in with a welcoming cup of tea with scones, jam and cream. Dinner tonight is followed by relaxing music from the hotel pianist in the lounge. Entertainment is provided each evening.

 

DAY TWO – New Years Eve -  The Gower, Mumbles and Swansea Bay

After breakfast, we enjoy a ride out to the Gower Peninsula where the scenery is beautiful whatever time of year you visit. Then it is on to Mumbles, on Swansea Bay before we have time in Swansea itself.We return to the hotel and prepare for tonight’s New Year Gala Dinner followed by musical entertainment.

 

DAY THREE – New Years Day – Tenby

This morning we have a short sightseeing ride to Saundersfoot and the ancient walled town of Tenby, one of South Wales’ best-known resorts. Explore the town, with its many little side streets or take a stroll to the harbour. We return to the hotel for a light lunch.

This afternoon we have a relaxing session of bingo and after dinner, we have our final night of entertainment. Tonight it is provided by a musical trio.

 

DAY FOUR – Departure

After breakfast we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
