(9) DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel south to south-east Cornwall. There will be a cream tea to greet you on arrival with tea or coffee to enjoy whilst your luggage is taken to your room.

Please note: In the event of unforeseen delays during our journey resulting in a later-than-planned arrival at the hotel, we may unfortunately be unable to enjoy the scheduled cream tea.

(10) DAY TWO – Looe

Enjoy a relaxing day at leisure in the charming Cornish fishing town of Looe. Take a gentle stroll along the bustling harbour, watch the fishing boats come and go, or wander through the maze of narrow streets filled with independent shops, galleries and welcoming cafés. Perhaps enjoy traditional fish and chips overlooking the water, take a walk along the sandy beach or simply find a peaceful spot to sit back and soak up the fresh sea air. With its colourful waterfront, friendly atmosphere and unmistakable Cornish charm, the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace.

(11) DAY THREE – Fowey

This morning we travel to Fowey, a picturesque town that has much to offer and is designated an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  Its natural harbour is the perfect haven for yachtsmen while still busy as a working port exporting Cornwall’s china clay.

The home of Daphne du Maurier can be seen, and the town also boasts an excellent selection of quality shops, art galleries, cafes, and restaurants for those looking for a Cornish cream tea or tasty fish & chips.

(12) DAY FOUR – St Ives and Land’s End

No holiday to Cornwall would be complete without a visit to the southwest tip of the area.

First, we journey to St Ives, through Bodmin, making our way along the peninsula. St Ives is a picturesque fishing harbour with plenty to see and lots to explore.

This afternoon before we make our way back to the hotel, and if time allows, we’ll make a stop at Land’s End - one of Britain’s best loved landmarks, famous for its unique location, natural beauty, and stunning scenery.

(13) DAY FIVE – Plymouth

Today we enjoy Plymouth, a city shaped by the past and steeped in history. Delve into Plymouth’s history as you walk in the footsteps of adventurers and explorers who strolled its streets in years gone by, including Sir Francis Drake, the Mayflower Pilgrims and Charles Darwin.

(14) DAY SIX – Padstow

Today we visit to Padstow, a fine example of a Cornish fishing port with a colourful harbour surrounded by pastel-washed medieval houses and of course home to the well-known TV chef, Rick Stein, and a perfect location for lunch. This afternoon we’ll head back to Looe, where you have time to relax before dinner this evening.

(15) DAY SEVEN – Looe

With another day completely at leisure, there’s plenty of time to discover more of lovely Looe at your own pace. Perhaps explore a little further along the scenic coastline, browse the town’s independent shops for a Cornish keepsake, or settle into a cosy café and watch the world go by. You may choose to simply relax by the harbour or beach, revisit a favourite spot from earlier in your stay, or enjoy a leisurely lunch with views across the water. However you spend your day, it’s another wonderful opportunity to embrace Looe’s laid-back seaside charm.
