DAY ONE – ‘Christmas Eve’ - Arrival

We depart from your home pick-up; you board your coach and travel to Llandudno via Tweedmill shopping outlet near St Asaph and the Conwy Valley, arrive at your hotel mid-afternoon, tea/coffee and mince pies served on arrival. Today's theme is 'Christmas Eve' and as we get excited for the festive season there will be lots of Christmas cheer.

DAY TWO – ‘Christmas Day’ - Llandudno

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast this morning then you can explore Llandudno at your leisure today. This evening is Christmas Day, so you are in for a treat with a Christmas menu to enjoy, and entertainment.

DAY THREE – ‘Boxing Day’ - Blaenau Ffestiniog and Betws-y-Coed

Today after breakfast we make our way to Blaenau Ffestiniog a town that nestles between the Moelwynion mountains, winding its way along the edges of the rocks. There’s a certain thrill in reaching ‘Stiniog’ (the local short name for ‘Blaenau Ffestiniog’) over Bwlch y Gorddinan and seeing the scars of the quarry industry stretching out in front of you. Traces of its industry, history and people can be found easily on the land. One’s sights instinctively turn towards the heights – the inviting mountains for walkers, the sun bouncing brightly off slate heaps, and a few adventurers climbing way above the town. But before scaling the heights, it’s worth keeping your feet on the ground and going for a stroll around town, which is full of independent and welcoming cafes, shops, and pubs. Here you’ll see the colour that I see, and the warmth that hides beneath the slate.

We then make our way to Betws-y-Coed tucked in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia), There is a wide choice of cafes, restaurants and shops. Clients can visit the Conwy Valley Railway Museum or walk to the ancient St Michael’s Old Church, taking the footbridge over the railway.

We return to our hotel this afternoon and relax into time for dinner this evening.

DAY FOUR – Pringles, Plas Newydd House & Garden and Conwy

We make our first stop to Pringles, at Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwlllantysiliogogogochin, don’t forget your camera for the famous photo under the railway sign.  Time for a tea or coffee in the cafe before we move on to Plas Newydd House and Garden an n enchanting mansion and gardens, with spectacular views of Snowdonia.

Explore the ancestral family home of the Marquess of Anglesey. Home to Rex Whistler’s famous 58-foot mural and numerous works of art you can also learn about the building and the conservation work to safeguard the house. Helpful guides will be on hand to explain the rooms and collections to you. Did you know that Plas Newydd has over 100 red squirrels, take a walk through the woodland and you might see one of these amazing creatures for yourself. You can also discover the hidden corners of the garden, as you take a stroll through its 40 acres.

Later we Make our way to Conwy where you can enjoy at leisure Conwy you can spend some time exploring.  Why not visit the castle (entrance not included), or perhaps the Plas Mawr, said to be Britain’s finest town house of the golden Elizabethan age (entrance not included).
