DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Lincolnshire arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Skegness and Downtown Shopping Complex

After breakfast this morning we head east to the traditional seaside resort of Skegness. The morning is free for you to explore the seaside resort. Later in the afternoon, we make a stop at the Downtown Shopping Complex before making our way back to our hotel.

 

DAY THREE – Newark-on-Trent and Sleaford

This morning, we head for Newark-on-Trent where is it market day. Perhaps visit the National Civil War Centre, Newark Castle, or search for a bargain at one of the antique centres in the town. Later, we take a drive through the countryside to Sleaford, a quaint market town known for its crafts and art.

 

DAY FOUR – Guided Tour of Lincoln and Lincoln Cathedral Guided Tour

Today we drive to the historic city of Lincoln with its magnificent cathedral, and next to it the Norman castle. First, we meet our guide for a familiarisation tour of the city on the coach, followed by a guided tour of the cathedral itself later in the day. The old town is a labyrinth of little alleyways and interesting shops to explore with plenty of tea rooms to keep you going for refreshments.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
