DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Lincolnshire arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Lincoln

This morning we head for Lincoln, a wonderful city, with plenty to see. With Tudor buildings, Roman ruins and Medieval strongholds, Lincoln is simply bursting with history. Every corner of this beautiful city has a story to tell, and there are 17 centuries worth of secrets to unravel.

 

A major settlement that rivalled London, Lincoln was once one of the most important cities in the country. A Roman colonia, a Viking trading centre and a powerful hub of engineering; this is a place with a past that deserves to be celebrated.

 

DAY THREE – Antiques Treasure Trail

Today we explore the antiques of Lincolnshire with visits to Hemswell Antique Centre, bringing together Europe's largest selection of dealers and offering a wide range of antique furniture and vintage collectables.  Within four separate buildings you will find 388 cabinets and 266 dealer displays which will keep you enthralled for hours. Take your time to wander through our vast array of bygone treasures. Who knows you may discover that antiques bargain you never knew you needed!

 

We’ll then visit Astra Antiques, with thousands of items and plenty to keep your interest. At Astra Antiques Centre you will find a variety of items from period Antique Furniture, Victorian, Edwardian, and Georgian to the wonders of the Retro Style and the biggest Vintage Clothing shop in the area.

 

It’s not just Antiques there is also a Reclamation Area, fantastic selection of Postcards, numerous Jewellery Cabinets from Costume to Silver and Gold, eclectic French items and even some more modern Industrial pieces to suit the Home and Garden.

DAY FOUR – York

This morning we drive across the Humber Bridge and head to York. The day is yours to explore; why not make your way to Stonegate, and the Antiques Centre York, which has 5 floors of antiques and collectables from Roman to Art Deco. There’s also a café.  Or simply enjoy the city and all that York has to offer.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
