DAY ONE – Moffat and Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Scotland, stopping on the way at Moffatt, a welcoming market town with a proud heritage as a spa resort, before continuing our journey and arriving late afternoon, you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – Isle of Arran and Brodick Castle

A full day to the wonderful Isle of Arran, cruise across the Firth of Clyde from Ardrossan to Brodick, the island’s capital, often described as ‘Scotland in Miniature’.  Arran has a blend of Highland and Island scenery with peaks and deep glens, contrasting with its heather-clad moorlands. We will also have time in Brodick, and we visit the impressive Brodick Castle, a grand Scottish baronial home surrounded by gardens and woodland, offering a glimpse into centuries of history and aristocratic life. We’ll then take the return ferry and make our way back to the hotel.

 

DAY THREE – Ayrshire Coastal Drive, Culzean Castle and Robert Burns Birthplace Museum

Today we enjoy the Ayrshire Coast, at its best with a visit the storybook Culzean Castle, perched dramatically on the Ayrshire cliffs, provides another highlight with its magnificent architecture and extensive grounds.

 

We then make our way to Alloway where we visit the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, which consists of Burns Cottage where the poet was born. Here we can view a collection of his life and works, Burns Monument, Statue Hoise & Gardens the Auld Kirk and the Brig o’ Doon Bridge.

 

DAY FOUR – Dumfries and Annandale Distillery

Today we travel to Dumfries where you are free to explore at leisure. Later we raise a glass to Scotland’s whisky-making traditions at the Annandale Distillery, where history, craftsmanship, and flavour come together in one unforgettable experience. We enjoy a tour of the facility, learning about the production. We’ll then return to our hotel.

 

DAY FIVE –Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home, with comfort stops en route.
