A festive break to the Highlands of Scotland, with the smell of mince pies and mulled wine in the air we enjoy the perfect break with the spirit of Christmas. You might even get a visit from the main man himself if you have been put on the good list. A truly festive fun filled few days away.

We depart from your home and travel to Scotland arriving late afternoon you will be welcomed with a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie. You will have time to relax before dinner this evening.
This excursion takes us southwest along the shore of Loch Laggan and through Glen Spean to Spean Bridge, a small and attractive village on the southern end of the Great Glen, best known for its iconic Commando Memorial. We then travel on to Fort William, spending a little while here, before returning to Newtonmore for tea/coffee and shortbread at the hotel. Its Christmas Day and so this evening we will have a traditional Christmas Day dinner. Will we see Santa?
Today we travel to the Capital of the Highlands, Inverness and the Spey Valley, after our day out well be enjoying Hogmanay tonight with a Taste of Tartan themed evening.
This morning we will take a ride out to Pitlochry, a bustling little town where you can explore for a while, before we return to our hotel where we will have a quiz and prizes ahead of our dinner this evening.
After breakfast we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.

Located on the outskirts of Newtonmore in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park, the Highlander Hotel offers friendly service and is famous for its welcome to coach groups. The hotel consists of two separate buildings, one housing the public areas and one housing the bedrooms, with external access between the two. All 80 bedrooms are comfortable and equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Although the hotel does not have a lift, all the public areas and many of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, with the remaining bedrooms being situated on the first floor. There is an informal restaurant, a relaxing, authentic bar, a lounge, and an outside seating area. This hotel does not have a lift, although ground floor rooms are available on request.
Looking to take a group, if you book 20 places or more on this tour the tour organiser will go Free of Charge.
