This morning we enjoy a wonder journey on the Mid Hants Railway Watercress Line. In years gone by, the Watercress Line took people on holiday, carried people to war, transported evacuees and moved all the essential goods of the area.
Today at the railway you can experience the thrill of a trip on a steam train through the spectacular Hampshire countryside.
Well then visit Jane Austens House Museum; the Hampshire cottage where Jane Austen lived. Here her genius flourished, and she wrote, revised and had published all six of her globally beloved novels: Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion.
