We depart from your home and travel to the port of Holyhead for our crossing to Ireland. We arrive at Dublin Port and then journey on to our hotel in Killadeas.
Today we will start with a lakeside scenic drive to Belleek, the home of Irelands oldest pottery Belleek Pottery established in 1857, it holds a very special place in the cultural and commercial heritage of County Fermanagh. We will have free time to sample lunch at one of the many eateries in Enniskillen before our visit to. We then explore Fermanagh's unique stories within the picturesque setting of Enniskillen Castle Museums beside the River Erne. Today, the historic Castle complex houses two Museums, Fermanagh County Museum and The Inniskillings Museum, forming Enniskillen Castle Museums.
This morning we enjoy a scenic cruise on the peaceful waters of Lough Erne, on the Lady of the Lake Cruiser. Explore the romantic beauty of the Fermanagh Lakelands while you enjoy the comfort onboard.
We then visit the Boatyard Distillery situated on the banks of Lough Erne. The Boatyard is Fermanaghs first legal distillery since 1890. Their story began with a dream in 2013 when Joe McGirr, imagined returning home to his native Enniskillen. The distillery takes its name from the disused Boatyard that its built on. You will enjoy a 90-minute tour and a 70cl bottle of Gin to take home with you.
After a relaxing breakfast we depart for the Ulster American Folk Park, one of the countrys most impressive Museums which brings back to life, with costumed re-enactments, themed exhibits and traditional crafts, the powerful story of the Irish people who left the thatched cottages of Ireland to travel to North America in search of a better life.
We then continue the day with a visit to Blessingbourne Estate with a tour that encompasses everything well-loved about the Estate. Your tour includes a walk through the Victorian gardens, with their majestic setting overlooking the beautiful Lough Fadda. As well as a private tour of the main ground floor rooms of the impressive Manor House. The Manor House was built in 1871-74 and designed by Pepys Cockerell a close friend of William Morris. After that, you can enjoy a guided stroll around the extensive Coach, Carriage and Costume Collections from yesteryear.
After breakfast we begin our journey back to Dublin and our crossing to Holyhead and home.
