Llangollen | Tenby | St Davids | Cardigan Bay | Saundersfoot | Picton Castle | Aberystwyth | National Wool Museum | Cardigan
We depart from your home with our exclusive door-to-door pick-up service and travel first to Llangollen. We have a break here before we continue our journey to arrive at our hotel in time to relax before for dinner.
This morning, we discover the spellbinding story of the Welsh Woollen Industry at Wales National Wool Museum, in the beautiful Teifi Valley, once the centre of a thriving wool industry.
Youll uncover Waless textile heritage, where traditional craftsmanship tells the story of generations. Our day continues as we return to the ancient market town of Cardigan, where you have some free time before we return to our hotel.
Your adventure continues in the picturesque town of Tenby, renowned for its colourful harbour and golden beaches. Stroll along the ancient town walls and soak up the maritime charm. Dont forget to visit the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery or simply take in the views and explore the boutique shops and cafes of this beautiful resort.
Well then visit the small seaside resort of Saundersfoot, a hidden gem with its tranquil beach and bustling harbour, perfect for a relaxing pause, before returning to our hotel.
This morning, we visit charming St Davids, the smallest city in Britain named after the patron saint of Wales and dominated by its 12th century Cathedral. We spend time at leisure strolling around the picturesque lanes and browsing the interesting little shops, with a visit to Giannis Ice Cream parlour a must (organic milk provided by the local cows!) We then make our way to Picton Castle, where history comes to life and beautifully landscaped gardens and fascinating architecture await you. One of the most unusual castles in the UK, theres something truly special here as it stands apart from Pembrokeshires other historic landmarks. Step inside and explore beautifully furnished rooms, discover original art and antiques, and enjoy the charm of one of the earliest circular libraries in the country.
After breakfast, we make our way home with a stop in Aberystwyth, explore the lively promenade and Victorian charm of this beloved university town, framed by rolling hills and sea air. We then continue our journey home.
