DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Lincolnshire arriving late afternoon. Time to refresh and relax before our drinks reception and dinner this evening followed by carol singers then in house games after dinner.

 

DAY TWO – Christmas Eve- Stamford

This morning we make our way to the beautiful and historic town of Stamford, packed full of art and craft shops, little side streets to explore, cafes and tea rooms. There are lots of opportunity to obtain a drink and a bite to eat for lunch. We return in time for tea/coffee and Grantham Gingerbread Biscuits. Guess the weight of the Christmas cake and the number of sweets in the jar at reception. Dinner tonight is followed by live entertainment. For those wishing to attend Midnight Mass details of local churches will be available with mulled wine and mince pies on your return.

 

DAY THREE – Christmas Day

Merry Christmas to all! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and open your presents. Have a relaxing morning in the hotel, maybe make use of the leisure facilities and take a swim. Traditional Christmas Lunch is served followed by the King’s speech. Later we have tea/coffee and Christmas cake. Dinner tonight is buffet style, and we round off the day with a festive quiz.

 

DAY FOUR – Boxing Day - Lincoln

Blow away the cobwebs today as we drive to the historic City of Lincoln. The old town is a labyrinth of little alleyways and interesting shops to explore - there are plenty of tea rooms to keep you going. We return to the hotel in time for afternoon tea and time to relax before dinner and our final evening of entertainment. 

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
