Journey to Embsay to enjoy a return steam train journey to Bolton Abbey. We then meet our coach again for the short trip to the charming market town of Skipton with time at leisure here to wander around the lovely, cobbled streets and shops before taking a relaxing canal trip with hilarious cruise commentary from Dave Spikey.
A full day guided excursion through the Yorkshire Dales National Park, to the pleasant market town of Appleby. Board the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway for the journey south to Settle for more wonderful dales scenery. We then meet our coach and make our way back to our hotel.
Travel to the splendid city of York you can enjoy the history and culture of this walled riverside city. We visit the magnificent National Railway Museum for an interesting and informative end to the day.
This morning we depart our hotel and make our way to Holmfirth. Sitting in the heart of the breath-taking Holme Valley, this picture-postcard town is the renowned location of the TV classic Last of the Summer Wine. Time here before we make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
