DAY ONE – Arrival

We depart from your home and travel to Tenby calling at Aberaeron where we can obtain some lunch before continuing to our hotel arriving late afternoon you will have time to relax before dinner this evening.

 

DAY TWO – St Davids and Haverford West

Today we visit Haverford West and St Davids.

Haverford West is a bustling town on the River Cleddau, making for lovely riverside walks. There are plenty of opportunities to obtain a spot of lunch before we make our way to St Davids, Britain’s smallest Cathedral city and named after Wales’ patron saint. Giving the city its status, the Cathedral is a must see along with the ruins of The Bishop’s Palace. Explore the many other historical buildings throughout the town, as well as quaint shops and cafés.

 

DAY THREE – Tenby

Today you have the day at leisure in Tenby to enjoy this beautiful harbour town, with 13^th century town walls. Why not visit the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery where you’ll discover more about this special place.

 

DAY FOUR – Pembroke and Pembroke Castle

Pembroke is out destination today and we have included a visit and guided tour of Pembroke Castle, one of the most complete Norman castles in the UK and the birthplace of King Henry VII, founder of the Tudor dynasty. Pembroke itself is a charming walled town with a rich history dating back over 900 years – what will you discover?

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home calling at Machynlleth for a stop before continuing our journey.
