DAY ONE – Arrival and ‘Christmas Eve’

We depart from your home and travel south to Newquay arriving at our hotel which will already be in the festive spirit.

 

DAY TWO – Newquay and ‘Christmas Day’

Today you have the day at leisure in Newquay to enjoy the hotel festivities.

 

DAY THREE – Bodmin Moor, Bodmin Jail and ‘Boxing Day’

This morning we drive across the imposing Bodmin Moor, steeped in history and tales of the "Beast of Bodmin" that supposed roams the moors. We then visit Bodmin Jail, where the past comes back to life. Built in 1779 for King George III, Bodmin Jail has played an important role in Cornwall’s history and will give you a chance to delve into an intriguing hidden history.

 

DAY FOUR – St Ives and ‘New Year’s Eve’

This morning we travel south to St Ives. Every Thursday the wonderful Farmers Market, held in the Guildhall opens its doors to reveal a fantastic variety of fresh locally produced high-quality food from Cornish suppliers. 

 

This time of year, St Ives is getting dressed for Christmas, so you can hav fun roaming the streets and absorb the Christmas atmosphere, as you enjoy your day.

 

DAY FIVE – Departure

After breakfast this morning we leave our hotel and make our journey home with comfort stops en route.
